Maintenance Drug List Changes for 2007

Photo of an open bottle of pillsEvery year, the Pharmacy and Therapeutics Working Group reviews the Maintenance Drug List to determine whether any appropriate changes need to be made. The changes listed below will take place January 1, 2007. Drugs on the Maintenance Drug List are dispensed in 100-unit doses or a 30-day supply (whichever is greater) at a single copayment. Important News for Members With High Cholesterol
Paramount covers generic Zocor®, also known as simvastatin, at a $0 copayment for members with active prescription drug benefits. This $0 copayment will continue for all prescriptions filled for generic simvastatin through December 2007.
