During prenatal visits, your doctor will:

• Check your blood pressure and urine
• Suggest other tests, such as an ultrasound or a gestational diabetes test
• Make sure your baby is growing properly
• Suggest ways to stay healthy during your pregnancy
• Help you get ready for your baby’s birth
